Legal Counsel - Commodity and oil trading

Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will draft and negotiate international trading contracts and manage the full contractual chain for commodity and oil trading. They will also handle claims, dispute resolution, and ensure compliance with international sanctions and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

Candidates must have a law degree and 4-8+ years of legal experience in commodity or oil trading, with fluency in both Russian and English. Proficiency in Incoterms, sanctions frameworks (OFAC), and experience with GAFTA/FOSFA contracts is highly desired.
