Responsibilities
Responsible for operating and maintaining the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system and ensuring all operational data is recorded. Oversees the DP control room scheme and trains Junior DP Officers to handle the system effectively.
Requirements
Requires a Class 1 Master FG COC II/2, unlimited DP certificates from the Nautical Institute, and an IMCA DP logbook. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Senior DPO or Chief Officer on DP vessels.
