Responsibilities
The R&D Engineer is responsible for designing and developing busbar trunking products, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards like IEC61439 and UL857. This includes 3D modeling, 2D drafting, building prototypes, and conducting risk assessments through DFMEA.
Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 3-7 years of design experience in the switchgear, automotive, or manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in 3D design software such as Creo or Solidworks and knowledge of DFM/DFA principles are required.
