OP Medical Coder

The role involves assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses and procedures while ensuring documentation consistency and compliance with DOH regulations. Additionally, the incumbent provides guidance and training to other coders and offers feedback to physicians regarding coding errors.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences or a related field and at least two years of coding experience. Candidates must hold a valid CCA certification from AHIMA or a CPC certification from AAPC.
