Assistant Shariah Manager

Responsibilities

The Assistant Shariah Manager ensures technical adherence to Shariah requirements for Islamic Finance transactions within the CIB. This includes reviewing documentation, implementing banking regulations, and providing secretariat support to Shariah committees.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Law, Shariah Law, or Islamic Jurisprudence is required, along with 0-3 years of experience in internal Shariah control. Proficiency in English and spoken Arabic is essential, with AAOIFI or CIBAFI certifications being an advantage.
