Responsibilities

Act as a technical specialist for the external audit of credit risk models (IFRS 9) for financial institutions in the MENA region. Responsibilities include conducting technical reviews of model development, performing substantive testing, and validating credit risk measurement models.

Requirements

Requires a postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics with at least 3 years of experience in credit risk modelling or audit. Proficiency in programming languages like SAS, R, or Python and practical knowledge of IFRS 9 and CECL are essential.
