Responsibilities
The Radiation Oncologist is responsible for confirming cancer diagnoses and developing comprehensive treatment plans using radiation therapy. They must execute treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and consistently monitor patient progress to ensure recovery.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctorate of Medicine and a specialization degree or fellowship in radiation oncology. A minimum of three years of post-specialization experience in treating and diagnosing cancer patients is required.
